Owen is a New Jersey based drummer with touring and recording experience. Owen graduated from Monmouth University in 2018. While at Monmouth, Owen studied under Robert Boyd, a student of drumming legends Bernard Purdie and Gary Chester. Owen has also studied with Chris Russo (The Shady Street Show Band), as well as learned under Dana LaMarca (Maggie Rogers), and Brendan Buckley (Shakira). Owen has recorded with various artists throughout the New Jersey/New York area, recording at Lakehouse Recording Studios (Asbury Park, NJ), RetroMedia Sound Studios (Red Bank, NJ), Grand Street Recording Studios (Brooklyn, NY) and Telegraph Hill Records (Manhattan, NY). Owen has also performed at the NAMM Convention in Anaheim, CA and the Light of Day Festival in Asbury Park, NJ among other venues across the country.
